From the preparations to the place settings, the ‘I Dos’ to first dance – a good wedding photographer will capture your big day forever, in a way memories never can.
And this year, one Northampton wedding photographer is offering the ultimate wedding package to a keyworker couple, worth more than £1,300.
As part of the fabulous ‘Wedding with Thanks’ competition, organised by Delapré Abbey, Sky Photography is giving away a once-in-a-lifetime photographer package. The prize will include a consultation, nine hours of on-the-day coverage, 400+ edited USB images, and a gallery for friends and family to download and save photos.
Simon and Kara Bradley, the husband and wife team behind Sky Photography, are no strangers to putting memorable events in the frame. They have snapped the speeches, guests and wedding breakfasts for more than 250 couples across Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire and Buckinghamshire.
They pride themselves on capturing the little details that brides and grooms have worked so hard to prepare, seamlessly blending in with guests – without the need to shout orders from a chair in the old-fashioned way!
“We photograph weddings naturally as they happen, without all that staged fuss or a cheesy pose,” says Simon. “We love capturing real moments between people, telling the story of their day honestly without being noticed – and creating stunning images that they want to hang all over their house.”
The couple say they are delighted to be involved with the Delapré Abbey competition, which seeks to give a dream wedding to a key or essential worker in Northamptonshire. The idea is to thank the couple for going above and beyond during the coronavirus crisis.
“The bravery and hard-working spirit of key workers has been humbling to the rest of the nation and to us,” says Simon. “Watching people stand fast every day and selflessly help others has been inspiring.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to give something meaningful to a deserving individual and their families. We are incredibly proud to have been asked and to have this opportunity to show our appreciation.”
