Thank you for your support during this difficult year and for helping us to celebrate and care for this wonderful historic place and support our community. Following the latest government guidance, the house will close for general admission. If you’ve pre-booked to visit us then look out for an email outlining next steps.
During this time, Common Ground will remain open for takeaways only. The Orangery and Hibiscus will be closed to visitors.
Both The Orangery and Hibiscus are in the process of contacting those who have booked a table to discuss next steps.
The grounds and Walled Garden will remain open for all to enjoy. Please follow the social distancing markers on the floor to ensure that you stay safe during your time with us. The Walled Garden will be open during the hours that Common Ground is open and is free to access. If you’re looking for fun ways to entertain the little ones during this time then download our free outdoor trail here.
Unfortunately, general admission will no longer take place. We know that this news will be disappointing but we have a few options for you in terms of next steps. We’re a registered charity so if you’re looking to support us then please consider donating the cost of your ticket which will help us to continue our work. Equally, we can offer you a full refund. Please look out for an email from us.
We appreciate your understanding and hope that you all stay safe and enjoy the festive season. We are sorry that we are unable to welcome you to inside the Abbey at this time but hope to see you again soon.
