On the 26th & 27th November and 3rd & 4th December, our Christmas Fair returns with a whole host of hand selected stalls for you to buy unique gifts for yourself and all the family.
For the third year running, Delapré Abbey is teaming up with Northampton Hope Centre and Food Aid Far Cotton to help tackle poverty this winter. All visitors to the fair are asked to bring a food donation on the day.
In the run up to the event, stallholders have been invited to introduce themselves and what they sell via the Abbey’s social media channels to give visitors a taste of what to look forward to throughout both weekends.
The Lewis Foundation is running a tombola to help raise money for their gift packs which are offered to adult cancer patients during their hospital visits. Coulson Macleod are also setting up shop in the Abbey, with an array of greeting cards, prints and gifts.
Husband and wife, John and Linda, will be joining us on the 26th and 27th November, sharing their passion for painting; giving the opportunity for visitors to buy a unique Christmas gift. All paintings are original, the duo also sell calendars and cards containing their paintings and also accept commissions for those truly unique gifts.
This year, there is everything from hand-made bags from Bags by Carmen to jams and pickles from Nicki’s Pantry Preserves & Produces. There is something for all the family with activities for children in the Abbey too. Once you have had a look round the fair and seen the Abbey dressed for Christmas, relax with something to eat and drink from independent local food vendors.
Tickets are £1 per person with the donation of a food item.
