This workshop will be talking about character creation in
tech and how we can incorporate many writing skills into the growing world of technology. There will also be a brief introduction to a software that is used in Bot and AI creation. Chloe Pattison and her team will teach the skills of how to write personas and start you on the right path for making your own bots, which is a growing market filled with opportunity. You won’t need any coding skills or even much experience with tech as it is quite simple to learn
and they can introduce you to places you can learn more. You may want to bring a device or pen and paper to note some things down on that you may find interesting, but other than that, all you need is yourselves! They are two young people in business who are trying to broaden their experience and audience and they work for the company Hi9, an up and coming distributor of Bots, AI and workshops.
This workshop is running as part of our Festival of Books as a 21st century look at characters in a modern technological world. Tickets to the literary festival are not required to attend this workshop but do note that there will be extra people and activities on site.
Tickets are £20 and can be purchased from the link above. Pre-booking essential. Suitable for all ages. Under 16s will need adult supervision
