Your safety is a priority to us and as we announce our exciting autumn and winter programmes, we just wanted to keep you updated on the measures that are in place to ensure that you have a safe, enjoyable experience with us.
Firstly, we’re proud to be part of part of Visit Britain’s Good to Go scheme, which means that you can book to visit the house, for our events, weddings and private hires, The Orangery café, and restaurant Hibiscus safe in the knowledge that we adhere to government and industry COVID-19 guidelines.
We’ve implemented a number of safety measures which you can read all about here. On arrival, your temperature will be taken, hand sanitiser will be in place, and we ask that you scan the NHS Test & Trace QR code poster using your smart device. When visiting the house you’ll be guided along a one-way route by one of our knowledgeable team members. We have ten tickets available per timeslot but within this the ‘rule of six’ applies to each group, so we ask that you socially distance during your visit.
Safety measures are in place for each of our events. We’ve got a family-friendly half term filled with creative activities for all ages coming up, as well as our popular Christmas programme. The safety of our visitors, stallholders, volunteers and staff is paramount. Please click on each individual event to find out more about what to expect when attending. In light of the recent government regulations on weddings, we’ve put together an intimate wedding package for up to 15 people. For £1500, the stunning grade II* listed Delapré Abbey can be yours for the day. This special price includes venue hire, a delicious three-course wedding breakfast, Prosecco or orange juice on arrival and for the toast, and half a bottle of house wine per person. Our popular Orangery café is continuing to run table service and takeaways, and the AA-rosette awarded restaurant, Hibiscus, is observing the 10pm curfew.
